Missions
We believe that at Chambersburg Bible Church, we have a solemn duty to fulfill our Lord’s command to spread the gospel throughout the world, as commanded in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and that the local church has been charged with the commissioning, sending, and supporting of missions (Acts 1:8).
The missions program currently supports 30 missionaries and missions agencies under the guidance of the Missions Committee. The committee is responsible for recommending missionaries for support, interviewing them when they present their work, preparing the mission budget and planning the annual Mission Conference.
Additionally, many members of the church volunteer their time to serve in local Good News Clubs, summer Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) Good News Camps, and the Fellowship of Bible Churches’ Camp Ministry, Camp Tohiglo.
