Assistant to the Pastor

Pastor Matthew Robinson came to Chambersbug in the summer of 2015. He serves as the assistant to Pastor Yoder. Pastor Matt oversees and teaches the youth group, leads and coordinates our Wednesday evening children’s outreach, teaches Good News Clubs, heads up local evangelism outreaches, preaches Sunday evenings, and directs the Power Pack Program for the local schools.

Outside of serving in the local church, Pastor Matt is actively involved with the Fellowship of Bible Churches where he serves as Youth Chairman for the executive committee. In this capacity he leads youth mission trips and youth activities for over a dozen churches. He also serves as the Dean of Junior Week for Camp ToHiGlo in Mercersburg, PA.

Pastor Matt was saved in August 2003 while visiting a church. He clearly heard the simple message of John 3:16 and cried out for Jesus to save him that day. It was shortly after that moment that God called Pastor Matt into full time ministry.

Pastor Matt graduated locally from James Buchanan High School in 2003. He went on to attend classes at Hagerstown Community College until transferring to Antietam Bible College. Pastor Matt graduated in 2007 with a degree in Pastoral Ministry with a minor in Bible. He has actively taken classes in pursuit of his Masters Degree.

While attending Antietam Bible College he met his wife Tiffanie. They were married in August 2010. They now reside in Martinsburg WV with their three children, Noah, Maggie, and Titus.

Pastor Matt has a loves for books and reading, classic black and white movies, he loves to build Legos with his kids, and is an avid baseball fan, cheering for the Los Angeles Angels
